Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara – Fly Into the Wild & Sundowner Experience

• Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or JKIA and transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara.
• Enjoy a scenic flight over the Great Rift Valley, with beautiful aerial views of Kenya’s landscapes before landing in the Mara.
• On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your camp representative and transferred to your safari camp or lodge.
• Arrive in time for lunch, check in, and relax as you settle into the beauty of the wild.
• In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the Mara plains or nearby conservancy, depending on your camp location.
• Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, cheetahs, and other wildlife as the evening light settles over the savannah.
• As the sun goes down, enjoy a magical sundowner experience in the bush before returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:Maasai Mara – Mara Triangle, Big Cats & Full-Day Game Drive

• Wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a full day of game viewing in the Maasai Mara.
• Today’s safari may take you toward the Mara Triangle, one of the most scenic and wildlife-rich sections of the reserve, known for its open plains, dramatic escarpment views, and excellent predator sightings.
• Your guide will search for lions, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, antelopes, and large herds moving across the grasslands.
• The Mara is especially famous for its high big cat density, and certain areas are well known for frequent lion and cheetah activity, especially where prey animals gather.
• Depending on the season, you may also explore areas near the Mara River, where migration crossings can happen between July and October.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue your afternoon game drive through different habitats, from riverine forest to wide-open savannah.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Optional Hot Air Balloon, Musiara Marsh & Night Game Drive
