Itinerary

Day 1: Begin Your Safari Journey from Nairobi
  • Morning Departure: Your adventure starts at 8:00 am when your private Driver-Guide arrives at your hotel in Nairobi. Settle into your exclusive 4×4 Land Cruiser for a scenic 5.5-hour drive to the Masai Mara, one of the world’s most renowned wildlife reserves. On the way, you’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you’ll marvel at the immense scale of this geological wonder, stretching as far as the eye can see.
  • Arrival & Lunch: Arrive at your luxury camp in time for a leisurely lunch, followed by some relaxation.
  • Afternoon Game Drive: At 3:30 pm, you’ll embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara. Look out for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, wildebeest, and giraffes. Your experienced guide will also help you spot the Big Nine, ensuring you get the most out of this wildlife-rich area. By 6:30 pm, you’ll return to your camp for a restful evening.

  • Morning Safari: Start your day early with a game drive from 6:15am to 9:00am. Early mornings are the best time to see predators in action as they hunt or move through the savannah.
  • Relax & Lunch: After breakfast back at the camp, take some time to relax and soak in the beauty of your surroundings before enjoying a hearty lunch.
  • Afternoon Safari: From 3:30pm to 6:30pm, head out for another game drive, this time exploring different areas of the reserve. Your guide will tailor the experience based on your interests, whether you’re seeking more wildlife encounters or stunning landscapes.
  • Flexibility: As this is a private safari, you can customize your schedule. Families with children or honeymooners might prefer a more relaxed pace, or you could opt for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost.

Day 3: A Riverside Retreat and Wildlife Wonders
  • Morning Game Drive: Rise early for another 6:15 am safari, watching as the Mara comes to life in the golden morning light. After a relaxed breakfast, you’ll transfer to a luxurious tented camp set along the Mara River, known for its birdlife, hippos, and crocodiles.
  • Lunch & Afternoon Game Drive: After checking in and enjoying a sumptuous lunch, you’ll embark on a 3:30 pm game drive, delving deeper into the Masai Mara’s diverse landscapes. Return to the camp by 5:00 pm for tea or coffee as you unwind after a day filled with wildlife encounters.

Day 4: Maasai Village Visit and Nature Walk
  • Morning Game Drive: Kick off your day with another morning safari, or choose to have a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. For those seeking a cultural experience, you can also opt for an enriching visit to a traditional Maasai village at an additional cost.
  • Cultural Immersion: During the village visit, learn about the fascinating Maasai culture, witness traditional dances, and see how the Maasai live in harmony with nature. It’s a unique opportunity to understand the way of life of one of Kenya’s most iconic tribes.
  • Nature Walk: For a change of pace, book an optional nature walk with a resident guide. Stroll through the camp’s surrounding area, learning about the local flora and fauna in a safe and serene environment. You’ll have a chance to connect with the natural beauty of the Mara on a more personal level.
  • Afternoon Game Drive: Conclude your day with one last afternoon safari, allowing you to check off any animals you’ve yet to see. Return to camp by 6:30 pm for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Day 5: Farewell to the Mara
  • Morning Game Drive & Departure: After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a brief morning game drive on your way out of the park. Take one last look at the stunning landscapes and majestic wildlife that have made this safari unforgettable.
  • Return to Nairobi: You’ll leave the reserve by 10:00 am, arriving back in Nairobi in the early afternoon, typically by 3:00 pm. From there, you’ll either be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your fli

  • Optional: For those wanting to maximize their time in the Mara, you can opt for a one-way flight back to Nairobi at an additional cost.

Prices are listed per person sharing and are quoted in US Dollars. The total cost varies depending on the number of passengers sharing a single vehicle, with options for 2, 4, or 6 travellers. Please note that prices may be subject to seasonal surcharges.
