Itinerary
Day 1: Journey to the Masai Mara
- Morning: Your safari begins bright and early! At 7:30 am, your expert Driver-Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi. You’ll set off on a picturesque journey through Kenya’s stunning landscapes, descending into the Great Rift Valley. A brief stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint allows you to take in the breathtaking views of this massive geological wonder, said to be visible from space. After stretching your legs and capturing some photos, you’ll continue the scenic drive toward the Masai Mara.
- Arrival & Lunch: You’ll arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for a delicious lunch. After some rest, you’ll get ready for your first thrilling game drive.
- Afternoon Game Drive: Around 3:30pm, you’ll embark on your first safari adventure through the Masai Mara. Keep your eyes peeled for the Big Cats—lions, leopards, and cheetahs—as well as elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and herds of wildebeest. The Mara is teeming with wildlife, and your guide will help you spot some of the park’s most magnificent creatures before returning to your lodge by 6:30pm.
- Evening: Enjoy a hearty dinner at your lodge, followed by a peaceful night under the African sky.
- Overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Full Day in the Masai Mara
- Morning Safari: Rise early to catch the wildlife at its most active during the cooler hours. From 6:15 am to 9:00 am, you’ll head out on a thrilling game drive as the sun rises over the savannah. The Mara is magical in the morning light, and your chances of seeing predators on the hunt are high.
- Breakfast: After your morning game drive, return to your lodge for a well-deserved breakfast and some relaxation.
- Afternoon Safari: After lunch, you’ll set off on another game drive from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Alternatively, you can opt for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch, maximizing your time in the wild. This is a great way to explore more remote areas of the reserve and spend more time observing the Mara’s diverse wildlife.
- Optional Maasai Village Visit: If you’re interested, you can arrange a visit to a nearby Maasai village to learn about the rich traditions and culture of the Maasai people. Engage with locals, experience traditional dances, and see how the Maasai have lived in harmony with wildlife for generations.
- Evening: Return to your lodge for another exquisite dinner and relax after a day full of adventure.

Day 3: Return to Nairobi
- Breakfast & Check-Out: After a relaxed breakfast, you’ll check out of your lodge by 8:30 am. As per park regulations, all visitors must exit the reserve by 10:00 am. You’ll enjoy one last glimpse of the Mara as you begin your journey back to Nairobi.
- Return to Nairobi: The drive back offers another chance to take in the scenic beauty of Kenya’s landscapes. You’ll arrive in Nairobi by early afternoon, around 2:30 pm, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Prices are listed per person sharing and are quoted in US Dollars. The total cost varies depending on the number of passengers sharing a single vehicle, with options for 2, 4, or 6 travellers. Please note that prices may be subject to seasonal surcharges.
